The Bacchus label was for a beer style that I've forgotten! The sketch of Bacchus can be found in the Illustrations gallery of this web site. The label was created with an early version of Photoshop.
I really like the design of the Wheat beer label and may need to recreate it in Photoshop if I brew another wheat beer. This original label was created in the now defunct SuperPaint application.
Ths is the original version of our Extra (Enfield) Special Bitter beer. It was also created in SuperPaint. You can find the Photoshop recreated version of this label in this gallery. The new version of this label is very different, but still retains identifiable elements from the original including the "American Gothic" motif.
Ditto on the Sneaky Squirrel label - originally created in SuperPaint and you will can compare it to the new Photoshop recreated version. The new version is almost identical to the original, but takes advantage effects that can be created with a modern graphics application.
Diane's Summer German Lager: While it was possible to copy and paste photos into SuperPaint, you couldn't do much with them once they were there. No color tweaking or photographic manipulation. Even so, the label turned out well and was designed to mirror design elements from the Munich, Germany Hofbrauhause.
Finally, the "Long Dark Brew Time of the Soul" was a coffee stout that had too much coffee! The label was created in Photoshop. It has a simple gradient background, simple points of light and a glowing, pointed star. All easily created in Photoshop.
The "K&D" logo appears on all our beer labels. I created it based on an old photograph of Daine and I in front of one of Diane's quilts.
